Dr. med. Rainer Picha - Austria

Dr. Rainer Picha is a cardiologist from Austria who worked as an Assisting Director and Head of the Intensive Care Unit at the State Hospital of Graz in Austria.

Initially, his career focused on invasive cardiology as head of the intensive care unit and performing coronary angiography.

From 1996 onwards Dr. Picha shifted his focus towards prevention and traditional approach to health care. He received his Ayurvedic training at the Maharishi Vedic University in Vlodrop, Netherlands, where he spent more than 2 decades working closely with ayurvedic scholars and senior Vaidyas from India.

Dr. Picha is now Chairman of the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation for Health Professionals (IMAVF) and Director of the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International (MCPHI).

In the past 3 decades, Dr. Picha has been lecturing internationally at universities, congresses and various conferences.

Dr. Picha is implementing Ayurveda in his medical office in Graz integrating his expertise in both, modern and ayurvedic medicine.
