RNDr. Martin Zahradník, Ph.D. - Czech Republic
Martin Zahradník is an experimental physicist in the area of optical and magneto-optical spectroscopy. He received his joint doctoral degree at the Charles University in Prague and the University Paris-Saclay in the fields of quantum optics, optoelectronics and nanotechnologies. He is currently specializing in ultrafast laser spectroscopy at ELI ERIC, which is the world’s largest research infrastructure dedicated to laser technologies.
He is a lifelong supporter of the field of Biotronics of Josef Zezulka, which led in his collaboration with the Professional Chamber Sanator – the Union of Biotronicists of Josef Zezulka, and later also with the Institute for TCIM/CAM, where he currently serves as a Head of the Science and Research Department.
Martin Zahradník is regularly publishing in international scientific journals and participating in the world’s leading conferences in the areas of optics, magnetism, and TCIM. He is also frequently organizing events in these fields, most notably he has been taking part in the World Health Congress Prague since its first edition in 2020.
Together with Tomáš Pfeiffer and Vladislav Šíma, he co-authored the Horizon of Cognition II, a book at the borderline of physics and philosophy, which lays the mathematical foundations of the horizon of cognition, whose concept was developed earlier by Tomáš Pfeiffer in the first book of the series. The Horizon of Cognition aims to unify the seemingly distant approaches of classical science and philosophy, which is also the main lifelong goal of Martin Zahradník.
