Dr. Jayvant Bhagattjee, BUTM, CMA - South Africa

Dr. Jayvant Bhagattjee, BUTM, CMA is a practicing Unani-Tibb physician, a trained doctor of Chinese medicine and an acupuncturist in Cape Town, serving as a member of the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa. Dr. Bhagattjee received his degrees from the University of Western Cape, earning a place in the Golden Key Academic chapter. In 2013-2014, he was awarded a scholarship from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to study Ayurveda (BAMS) at Banares Hindu University where he spent a year. He has also spent a year working in the Maldives to understand the TCIM spa. As a wellness consultant, he is also trained in yoga, meditation, tai chi and qi gong and leads groups regularly.
